
Surprise buat dewi yang ulang tahun tgl 31 Mei kemarin. Kebetulan abis bikin Carrot Cake, sebagian ada yang aku bikin untuk cup cake. Trus toppernya aku buat dengan perlengkapan dandan, secara dia lagi suka banget dandan.

Balik lagi ke cakenya, gw akhirnya dapet resep dari Boga Sari Cake Baking Course. Karena gw keabisan soda kue, gw jadi gak pake soda kue. Tadinya untuk minyak goreng gw mau coba pake olive oil, tapi pas ditimbang olive oilnya gak ada 150gr, jadi gw pake minyak goreng biasa, gak papa juga kok. Untuk cream cheesenya pake yang dari yummy, lebih terjangkau harganya. Tapi rasanya tetap enak kok.
Nah karena kemarin banyak krucil yang anti sayur, jadi gw parut wortelnya halus-halus, biar mereka gak tau kalo itu ada wortelnya, hihihi.
Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Bahan:
250 g Telur
300 g Gula kastor
2 g Garam
5 g Emulsifier
260 g Tepung Segitiga Biru
1 g Baking soda
1 g Baking powder
1 g Cinnamon bubuk
450 g Wortel (parut halus)
Cara Membuat:
1. Kocok telur, gula, garam hingga kental dengan speed tinggi. Masukkan emulsifier, kocok terus hingga kental dan meninggalkan jejak.
Cheese Cream Frosting

Bahan:
250 g Philadelphia Cream Cheese
80 g margarine
1 cup icing sugar
1 sdm perasan air jeruk lemon
Caranya oh gampang sekali deh:
1. Kocok Philadelphia Cream Cheese dan margarine dengan mikser selama 4-5 menit atau hingga halus dan ringan (fluffy).
Look What I’ve bought today!
Yeah its fondant tools set and some patchwork cutter. I am really happy, can’t wait to use them to built figure and lots of cute little things in fondant. Yeaaay!
And I’ve also bought a great book from a founder NCC, mba Fatmah. This book its pretty amazing, I believe if I took the “figuring fondant” at NCC cooking class I will get more tips and better guidance with her. But I still can’t match the schedule with my daily working hour. Since then I better try this at home. I already googling several figure for an example and I really exciting with this project. After playing with lots of chocolate, now its time to celebrate fondant!
